Sanimax is proud to have won the Environmental Impact Award at the Gala EnviroLys 2026, organized by the Conseil des entreprises en technologies environnementales du Québec (CETEQ).
The EnviroLys Gala highlights the expertise, entrepreneurship, and innovation of companies that contribute to advancing the green economy in Québec. More specifically, the award won by Sanimax recognizes a project with positive and measurable effects on environmental protection and remediation.
This recognition highlights a major project carried out at our Lévis plant: the construction of a new receiving and storage facility for raw materials, combined with a negative-pressure ventilation system and a dedicated biofilter, at a cost of $10 million. This new infrastructure now allows us to better capture, contain, and treat air at the source.
This project is the result of close collaboration between municipal and provincial authorities and Sanimax, involving our teams from the Environment, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Health and Safety departments.
This project is a concrete example of our commitment to continuous improvement—both to enhance our operations and to foster harmonious coexistence with our community!
